A native of Oak Grove, Alabama, Chase is a second generation following in his dad's footsteps. He was
born with a strong passion for racing. He has grown up at the race track, knowing at a very early age that he wanted to race someday, just like his dad.

Chase began his racing career at the age of nine racing Karts around the state. His first kart race, he finished fourth out of fifteen karts. Chase raced karts for several years but his focus was always on Racecars. At the age of fourteen, Chase discovered that a local track would allow you to compete at his age. That's all it took for Chase and his Dad to build a car. Chase then moved from racing karts to racing in the Mini Modified Division at the Sayre Speedway in Sayre, Alabama. In the 2002 season Chase ran a few select races and out of seven races he had five top 5's.

In 2003 Chase competed at several racing facilities across the state proving to be a very strong contender. At the age of fifteen Chase won his in fifteenth race at the Sayre Speedway. Also Chase won the Mid Season Championship Race. Winning at several tracks across the state, with several top 5 finishes as well. Chase also won the "Rookie of the Year" at the Heart of Dixie Speedway.

In 2004 Chase ran a limited schedule at different facilities. He raced at Birmingham International Raceway, Montgomery Speedway, Sayre Speedway and Huntsville Raceway. The sixteen year old driver continued to impress his competition, fans and teams with his skill, patience and talent behind the wheel. Most of his competition was with men that had raced with his dad.

Chase has become a very familiar face in Victory Lane as he has continued to dominate the Mini Modified Division. Showing his diversity and adaptability to different racing facilities. Chase has made it in the record books as being the second driver in the Mini Modified Division to win at all four tracks. Birmingham International Raceway, Montgomery, Huntsville and the Sayre.

In March 2010, Chase moved up to Late Model Racing. Keeping true to his passion Chase has learned to drive all different types of cars from Mini Modifieds to Late Models gaining valuable experience and showing unusual versatility for such a young driver. Being able to drive two different types of racecars in the same season has been an excellent way to showcase Chase's versatitlity.

In 2011 Chase ran a full season with the Southern Superstars late models.  He had two top five finishes, four top ten finishes, and three top 20 finishes. He went into the last race of the season holding onto second in points overall and the opportunity to win the Rookie of the Year award. Due to motor trouble and an ill-handling car, Chase finished third overall. Not only did Chase finish out the 2011 season third in points, he took home the 2011 ARP Bodies Rookie of the Year Award.
